And so it begins...

Although not a certain starter, losing Milner would leave a big hole in the squad.
I think he's a very important member of the squad, who over the course of a long season proves his worth time and time again.
If were willing to let him go and lose his versatility and willingness, then the person coming in, has to be pretty special, in my opinion.

The only teams i think are interested in Milner are Arsenal, Everton and liverpool

Hows my aim Tolmie

Selling Rodwell for £10 - £12 million.

P/X Milner for Barkley and giving them the money from the Rodwell deal.

Barkley's style of play is the closest I have seen to Yayas in terms of his pace (with the ball), power, and technique. Would be a natural replacement when Yaya eventually leaves ON OUR TERMS.

Perhaps Yaya would fancy a change of scenery in a year or two playing alongside xavi and david villa again...

Even if Garcia is sold we are still left with one too many non home grown players for the C/L. Wherever I look in the squad I can't see a player who would be happy being told he was being left out of the champions league.
So if another home grown is being brought in, I think a non homegrown will make way, so if Navas it could be Walcott to replace or if Toure then Barkley would be most likely to come in.
