And so it begins...

Simon Mullock also said on Twitter there is a 'potential one' but that he'd be 'too expensive' (which is where Milner and Rodwell might come in, I guess, but we'd still have to sell players like Garcia, Micah and Sinclair because we've almost exhausted our £49m [net] spend limit).

City have been very wary of being led up the aisle by Mangala camp simply because Chelsea and United had made contact.

United were biggest concern but City did the hard work ages ago.

Just like Txiki did with Navas and Fernandinho.

You always have to trust players and seems he wanted us that little bit more.

Just on the £49mil, The cap was 60 mill euros, that means the £49 mil is variable, and with a stonger pound less than 49 at the moment. If we spent 40 mill euros on Mangala and 15 mill Euros on Fernando the Caballero fee has probably taken us over our 60 mill Euro cap.

My guess is that the biggie might be Walcott or OX. Funded by the sales of Sinclair, Micah, Rodwell, Garcia and now looking more likely Milner.

I am trying to work out in my head if we have enough to let Milner or Rodwell go to Everton at a very decent price to give us the heads up for Barkley in a year's time.

We don't need Walcott or the Ox they play where Navas plays.
