Was wondering how long it would take for Oasis to be mentioned, 6 posts in! I really don't understand how you can call them overrated I mean i know people who don't like Oasis mainly because they don't like the Gallaghers but they say that the 1st 2 albums really were amazing!

I don't like The Smiths, hate Morrisseys voice but I can respect them as a group, I can see why people do like them, I wouldn't just go out and call them overrated to be different and be a hipster like so many on here are.

Oasis are a third rate Beatles karaoke tribute act.
Nothing to do with hating the Gallaghers - I quite like them.
But Oasis are simply shit.
Sorry about that.

I can't say much in Coldplay's defence but Radiohead, like Blur, tried other things and got it right. Oasis are just the ultimate "play it safe" band.
