They were a so called "boy-band" that made rock & roll/pop music for about 18 months. Boy-bands do not have the musical capacity to grow and expand with music. Not only did The Beatles do this, but they changed music forever while doing it.

Even if that was all they were you are acknowledging that they has a massive influence on music that is still in effect 50 years later. How many bands can say that.
