He was the best player, but as you say the bar was very low, at least he kept trying, Rogers was OK too.

I thought it was a strange appointment as he's very similar to Southgate in his style of play. He's only got a two year contract so he's probably a stop gap until a better manager becomes available. Pep perhaps?
