Andre Gomes (Valencia)

Been immense tonight, Real Madrid can't live with him. I'd never seen him play before tonight but he's been seriously impressive in a huge game here. Get him signed up.
 
Hope this happens, as he's a wonderful player who can play anywhere across midfield.

He is now my #1 player acquisition. He is gonna be very good. Ruggedly skillful. Just how I like it.
 
There is absolutely no doubt about this player at all.

I have only seen him place three times for Valencia in the past few weeks, and each time he was the man of the match.

He has it all. He reads the game well positionally, he has a great technique when it comes to a 25 yd shot on goal and he tracks back working hard in assisting repossession of the ball.

In short, he is a managers dream and doubtless when Valencia come to sell him in Summer 2016, his fee will reflect his skill and future potential.

I'd love to see him in laser blue, but realistically he will probably end up in colours of Barcelona - or more likely - Real Madrid.

In the meantime, given that MP has just stated, in the last 15 minutes, that City are not looking at any incoming moves in the next 23 days, we will hopefully see, PG use his status and influence to acquire players of his talent to come to the Etihad, as doubtless he would.

For me Arda Turan would be a good midfield target to focus on. His work rate I'd rate as exceptional. He's the kind of player that would add the extra bite that our midfield needs at this time.

Didn't Barca just buy Turan 6 months ago?
 
They did but his game time has been relatively modest at Camp Nou since his arrival with Rakitic edging him out. I think he is the kind of player that needs to be active week after week and he will be frustrated at his amount of minutes played since his arrival.

Modest? Uhm... Turan haven't played at all because of Barca's transfer ban. He and Vidal couldn't be registered until this month. They are both registered now.

Looks like Rakitic wasn't even letting the bugger play on the practice pitch...poor sod
