Andre Villas-Boas

They are 2 decent CB's, a midfielder (if Modric leaves) and a proper striker away from playing the way he likes his teams to play.

Fact of the matter is, he was given neither the time, or support at Chelsea. Granted he tried to do too much too soon and in doing so, looked a fool but with a younger, more mobile squad like Spurs, I can see him doing well.

He could do well there but i hope he doesn't. He had problems at chelsea but that team won the fa cup and champions league so its a gamble by spurs. Seems levy blames harry for the drop in form over the England manager saga. I think spurs will regret it

He was doing well until the racist fucked it up.

Could be surprise top 3 package imo.

from another poster on here the other day but funny as fuck...

Andreash Villash Boash pmsl.

On a serious note, a man with a point to prove and i think he will do a very good job for the Spuds.

Truth is,he could'nt prove his point with a better team that was chelsea.

Chelsea are a club with a group of players that manage themselves and turn it on and off like a tap, dependant on whether they can be arsed or not or have had their collective noses pushed out of place.

I wont judge him on his tenure with the rent boys that's for sure.

CFC got into the old MANUre and Dipper mentality that if yer've won summat the prize is yours for life. He's only got one target to consider - a real de facto place in the 2013-14 Champions' League!

I don't quite get all of this: Why would they sack Harry who undeniably had done a great job but given no real warchest, and then hire AVB, who I gather will have some money available for transfers.

I think they will be a weaker side this coming season.

He's spent quite a few quid, Defoe, Crouch, Pavlechenko etc. I think the main reason they got rid of him was because he only had 1yr left and they didn't want to give him a new one after Spurs' collapse this season

But those are not top-top- players which he often referred to, the really expensive ones.
If he was fired due to poor results I'm baffled. They got top four two out of three times, and only lost out on CL next season due to extreme bad luck.

But again, I'm glad he got the boot as I now doubt Tottenham will be a top four contender the coming season. I don't think AVB will be a PL success... ever.

But it was his fault they finished 4th and not 3rd, perhaps if he didn't speak to the media every 10 minutes and also concentrated more on Spurs than hoping he got the England job they would have finished 3rd
