The irony is that he out managed AVB who had a vastly superior squad last season when he was at Chelsea. Harry is a better manager than AVB, getting Spurs to finish 4th, 5th and 4th is a remarkable achievement in this financially driven football era. AVB is a spoiled cry baby. I know players are pampered pre madonas these days, but i don't remember so many players that publicly hated a manager like AVB at Chelsea.

-- Mon Jul 23, 2012 6:28 am --

Rocket-footed kolarov said:IH8MUFC said:I don't understand this appointment at all. Harry really fit in well at spurs and was respected by the players. AVB will crash and burn again. Don't see him being there for a whole season.
Harry had his chance and cocked up when he finished third, I suspect Levy had grown tired of his personality and saw no excuse to tolerate it anymore. For the last few months Bale was playing in the middle of midfield, if you don't achive champions league football that sort of conduct cannot go unpunished.
Getting dropped in it is situations like Paul Sturrock at Southend. He turned up on the first day of training and 5 players showed up to complain that they hadn't been paid and they didn't stay to train. Managing a hugely talented squad that cost a fortune to put together is an easy job especially when he was paid millions himself.Aguero_Element said:He got dropped in it with Chelsea, I reckon he can do well with spurs
