J7st a point about Burnham and his threat of a CPO for the Freightliner land.
I assume it would have to be the Council, (GMC?) Who buy the land.
Would they then donate it to the rags ?

If so what a disgusting use of taxpayers money.
 
I will be candid here tge fucking swamp develo0ment ranks very low on. what pissese.off when it comes to actions by the mayor or our local councils.in. greater manchester and lets be honest no one would give a shite about frieght liner being bought or this regeneration going ahead if the rags weren't involved.

My issue is a expect 5% hike in council tax next year after tgis yeaes yet:

  • while homelesness is down proffessional begging is up and more meth heads are hanging around cross roads mitgerimg drivers, shops and supermarkets than ever.
  • community policing is visible in some places and absent in others, scrambler gangs are still tearimg it up many places and the groups of teenager groups on the stolen rental bikes passing police without a chance of them being gripped if laughable.
  • Every fucking street is covered in weeds, green spaces overgrown and fly tipping on the rise
  • parts of Manchester city centre stink. of sick or piss as no. street cleaners or green goblins seem exist hosing the place at 5am as before.
  • You cannot get a fucking doctors appointment for love of money in some areas, when more drop in centres can be sanctioned by GM to be built opened to aleviate A&E and GPs
  • No pressure on. new builds especially in town to reserve x ammount of new housing/flats as affoordable rental only or social housing.
  • Stop obaessimg with Leigh amd wigan when it comes to Bee network, 24 hr buses are required in. east and north manchester and more services on single route that service more populated areas, plus no **** wants wigan in GM anyway :-)
  • Get that lazy waste of votes Bev Craig and Karny a to sort out the gardens.

A much better option is to move United to the vacant 221 acre site in Merseyside right next to the M6 M62 save 400 million on buying freightliner and build the new homes on the vacant united land

The Treasury would have questions about a council (or mayor) borrowing money to build a new stadium with no guarantee of getting the money back.

A very good, well written article. It exposes the lies peddled to Americans by American sports owners.
It warns that we the great British public are being conned by Burnham.
The CPO means the rags will get the land free. That means cuts to other vital public services.

If they keep trying and increase this they will be giving Middlesbrough near where I live a run for its money - Looks like Manchester needs to up its rodent game if it wants a shot at the title.

He was soft on dossers (homeless) and we ended up with an encampment outside the Town Hall extension, what sort of image that portrayed to visitors is anybodies guess.
