Andy Burnham | Manchester Mayor

He's always been a prick. His stumbling and hesitant verbals betray the incoherancy of his thought processing. His inadequacy as a weak challenger was one of the keys to Corbyn's successful leadership. Burnham was on a par with the other candidates - Liz Kendall and Yvette Cooper. They share the same hesitancy in their speech. To me, it's arguable whether he would be a stronger leader than either of those two today. Personally, imho, they are all STILL just as weak as each other, and the prospect of any of them succeeding Starmer and becoming P.M. fills me with horror - as much as I dislike Starmer, I fear that Burnham would just roll out the red carpet for Farrage or one of his oiks to take us on a racist Trumpian ride to dystopia.

I'm not sure what you mean by hesitancy in speech.

It didn't stop the people electing Liar Johnson.

I really dislike Burnham, self opinionated arrogant **** who self promotes. Labour gaza policy has been disgraceful. My local MP A Western is useless. Always voted Labour. Tactical voting next time appears only option

Listen to him trying to speak off the cuff.

It's irrelevant but Johnson was just a bumbler, yet he had the media behind him - he was their darling. No 'Labour' politician could hope to have that machinery behind him/her in the present xenophobic climate.

White van man beats that every time.

Scruffy Jim sacking more of his staff.

Calling for a UK and Europe wide strategy is Brexit backer Worzel…
In other not surprising news, the article continually refers to him as Sir Jim, for some inexplicable reason.

Just looked at "Freebies" scandal being dragged up by DM.
All seems reasonable and fair, as he gives 15% of wages which covers any benefit.
The oddity which stood out was, he received a ticket at the Old toilet but bizarrely it was gifted by the Mayor of Salford!!!
Any explanations? Do the council taxpayers of Salford pay for a stash of rag tickets?

Apparently they are ‘grooming Paul Dennett, Salford’s Mayor ‘ to take over from Burnham if B stands against Keir Starmer!
It’s come to light because of a ‘scandal’ involving Salford’s Deputy Mayor and a female Council employee and hidden emails etc.
Maybe Dennett is keeping in Burnham’s good books by buying the ticket out of his own pockets. *whoops watch out for the flying pigs*
