Agree with Robbo, one dimensional player who needs a team built around him. Would NEVER in a million years fit into our team at present, doesn't have the movement nor the quickness of thought.

Everytime I've seen him play I just can't see what the fuss is about

the only thing is he is getting the ball in the back of the net..... how long this will continue should be interesting to see but hopefully not with us

Completely agree. Carroll is too raw, not performed consistenly at this level, he needs to mature, plus it will be a vastly overrated price tag due to dirth of english strikers, defenders will get wise to him, lets see if he handles that over a long period of time, its Dzeko all the way,

Dzeko, Carroll, Balotelli, Jo (as 4th striker)

Personally I would prefer someone a bit better than Jo as 4th choice but he seems to be knuckling down now and trying to improve so just maybe he will stay...........

It would be scary thought for defenders facing 2 or 3 strikers all 6' 3" tall, especially as Dzeko and Balo are technically good with the ball at their feet. We'd probably line up with a 4-4-2 with 2 on the pitch or in the case of one up front any of them could fit the bill with (probably) Dzeko or Carroll starting as lone striker and Balo as a left inside forward.

Having said all that - Carroll, Balotelli, Dzeko & Tevez would be a scary strike force and I think Tevez would probably have to play deeper (which he seems to do anyway).
