Stillsy-when you quite clearly state "he is the best in the world in the air"...then I disagree and say he's not earned the right to "best player in the world at anything" yet...it doesn't then naturally follow that I'm accusing you of saying "he's the best player in the world...."
Regarding Cahill-being "better in the air"..it isn't just about the tallest,or having the highest leap-it's about
intelligence as a footballer to be in the right place at the right time.
Put Crouch (for instance) against Cahill in a headed goal scoring situation and nine times out of ten I'd back Cahill every time,despite him being at least a foot shorter...simply because he's a far more intelligent footballer,and finds space far more effectively...in my opinion,of course.
Carrol is a good young player who is showing all the attributes of a top-quality player.I just don't agrre with you about where he's at in his footballing development yet-and his off-field antics are questionable at best.
And mate-I never declined you the right to say anything.
