i have not spoken to one single bloke that dont think all this sexism shite is complete and utter bollocks, its just the usual noisy minority wantin their own way. every one ive talked to agrees that theres no place in proffesional football for women!!

Women? A minority?

I can't be arsed to read the full thread, but I don't see the issue, surely if a woman can not play in the league they should not be able to officiate in it?

Also, if doing what Andy Gray has done is more than enough to get the sack then I can not understand why I still have a job?

if they cant play in the league why should they be allowed to officiate. thats something some of these nobheads cant argue with. i think it should be the same for the womens game aswell they shouldnt have men officating it unless there are lack of female refferees which clearly there are not !

ive got nothing against women at all in fact theres something in me which wants to back them in this debate but somwhere sub-cosciously my mind just says theres something not right when all the players are men, managers are men other 3 refs at the game were men the majority of the fans were men. theres a place in football for women just not in the barclays premier league but if they want to let them officiate then they should let them play then see our sport made into and absolute joke

Using that logic then, none of the current officials could ref and only ex pro's could officiate.

Yeah, that would work.......

i dont hate women, i own one myself, its just that they are shit at fooball.

Wont miss Gray. Tired old dinosaur. Hairy hands should be gone with him. The only victim here is the linesman or lineswoman. For her to get to officiate a premier league game tells me one thing, she must be very very good, probably even the best in the game. You don't get as far as she did against the odds for being average. Her being demoted through no fault of her own is a disgrace.

She's not been demoted, she was removed for her own benefit tonight, she may even have requested it herself, she would have been under far too much pressure.

Also I'm not Gresty Road could have taken 12,000 journalists and paparazi.
