I agree we shouldn't cancel his contract as presumably that is exactly what he wants and as you say he could pop up anywhere including one of our Prem rivals. I do think he needs to be totally away from the club and players though and as much as the idea of continuing to pay the prick is depressing, I reckon we should just put him on indefinite paid leave. We can cancel contract for breach/gross misconduct and retain his registration.
Phil McNulty has already been on about it. He could sue and we could counter-sue for extensive losses. The fucker wouldn't get on a pitch for 2 years while it went through the courts.
