Andy Hinchcliffe

Sniff sniff guys? Who are your guys? Been a city fan since early 80's so who you sniff sniffing at, if you listen to people on here, every single pundit hates us, some people have serious complexes on here
I do almost completely agree with you, our fanbase went from being the thickest skinned epitome of “water off a duck’s back” group of people in the 90s to being the most sensitive and soft fanbase around when it comes to the media and what they say… however, Hinchliffe has a very strange tone about him when it comes to City, seems like he hates us.

I think that’s true. But the fact that I used to watch this prick play at Maine Road with our shirt on his back magnifies his strange tone to me. Especially as we were his first club. I don’t expect better off McManaman or the German drunk driver because we know their previous allegiences.

My honest opinion is the commentators have to raise their voice due to the noise when the home team scores (due to being surounded by supporters cheering/shouting)

It might seem as though there shouting/celebrating on tv but can you imagine how loud it is where commentators are sat!

Martial v liverpool (Old Trafford)

Sterling v city (Anfield) when D.Silva scored it wasn’t as loud and didnt need to shout

Aguero v Qpr (Etihad)

Gundogan v Villa (Etihad)

Maybe this has something to do with it but i maybe wrong?

What i do know is Hinchcliffe is a ballbag

Not as loud as he shouted

"OHHHH YEEEES!!! WELCOME TO MANCHESTER!"

When Marital scored on his debut for the rags against Liverpool

Are we really comparing how loud he shouts yes?

That goal is actually why liverpool fans think he hates them.

Ha, weird, was just thread hopping on here and saw this. My 11-year-old said the other day when Hinchcliffe was on "God, this commentator really doesn't like City does he?"

I was like, "he used to play for us!" :)

In that list of great co-commentators these would be my top two
Ally McCoist
Denis Law (with the wonderful Bryon Butler and Peter Jones)

Andy Hinchcliffe is # 358,543,217

Aye to that.

Mike Ingham:"So how do you think today's Manchester Derby will go, Denis Law?"
Denis Law: "It'll be a draw."

and i loved him for it. For all his years in red, he still had a regard for City and didn't want to upset anyone - especially of his three children is Blue! Year after year, it would be "It'll be a draw.". Some might say he was sitting on the fence but he compensated by offering a decent insight into the game.

I think it’s because we went from being ignored to a lot of unfair scrutiny and downright lies.

The reason we are sensitive now is because we’ve been attacked with an agenda in the press since 2008. There are genuine opinions that aren’t biased that naturally get caught up in our sensitivity but the sensitivity itself is justified.

When the sad day comes and Pep leaves City, we should consider Hinchcliffe for the manager’s job.

He knows everything about football. What to do in every situation, where our players are going wrong, where we can improve.

Can’t believe no one has given a job in management already.
My dad played in uniteds youth team in the 50s ( I know) and he hates Hinchcliffe for his know all comments when a striker misses.

Hinchcliffe is a tit.

As soon as i here his droning voice , the mute button is engaged he gives little praise to any team , not just us , who the f*ck is he ? An average left back who won f*ck all in the game , he is hardly the source of football wisdom , he never went into coaching or management because he hasnt got the football intelligence ,so he f*cking bores everyone shitless commentating , he is stealing a living.

I know he doesn’t praise us like an ex City player should, but he did score that 5th goal against United and gave it them in Platt Lane. That is in my list of top 5 goals of all time.
