Andy Madley performance

You don't think the players underperformed because of Madley's 'lack of control'? Everton got away with shit loads and it 100% got to the players.
Trevor, you raise a good point, thank you for allowing me to explore that line of thinking.

I absolute 100% think it affects us and the players. The players won’t tackle properly, we lose control of the match when we should have had a free kick, we lose players trying 100% because they know they’ll have it left on them. You cannot play to your ability with that in affect.

City have to be at least 120% better than all our opponents. 100% to beat them 10% to overcome the ref 10% to overcome ourself.
that’s a gargantuan task.

I was. Ahhh, another "fuck off" merchant. It's okay to have a different opinion to somebody else on an internet forum. I repeat, it is okay.

I love our fans, we are some of the quietest in the league though. Our hardcore is ageing, and the under 25s love a sing song on the concourse for Snapchat, then don't bring the same noise into the stands.

Pretty sure you was in the match day thread saying the same shit, and that you wasn’t there.

Edit… from the Match day thread - “Our fans on the whole are as quiet as mice, pathetic. Anybody reading this in the ground, get behind the fucking lads, that atmosphere was awful first half. Like statues on every corner and right decision. Expectant for goals.”

If you want such an atmosphere surely you wouldn’t have been on BM in the ground? And would have been signing and chanting.

It makes our league wins over the last few years all the sweeter.

Nailed it, I’m going mental in 109 and loads of plastics and day trippers are looking at me in disgrace. Last season for me this after 47 years. Can’t deny it. I don’t enjoy it anymore. Sanitised as fuck.
It certainly is mate. It’s boring as fuck. I said a few years ago that the game would be unrecognisable in a few years and unfortunately I’m right. It’s just bollox now. Bernardo diving yesterday really hit home with me that even usually decent, fair teams are doing all this cheating, diving, time wasting bollox. The refs aren’t good or strong enough to sort it. I wasn’t even that bothered yesterday and haven’t watched any of the bore fest today. My mrs said to me “went are you not watching football - it’s Sunday? Never seen her looking so shocked haha. Perhaps some of us just need a break from it and leave it to the young ‘uns

I've been chucking my card in for the last 3/4 seasons but I'm still going.

It's getting more & more likely that it'll happen in the next couple of years especially as I'm now about 60 miles away rather than 5, driving back yesterday in a fucking monsoon wasn't pleasant, parking is getting more & more difficult & as I'm 60 before the end of this season at some stage will eventually think fuck it.

You only have to watch this Forest game as well to see that all the other top teams get refs helping them, we are the only side who week in week out get absolutely shafted by the officials - Forest at home yet even by 25 mins into the game the Forest fans are singing you don’t know what you’re doing and who’s the wanker in the black.

Liverpool the other day against Leicester exactly the same, just throw themselves to the ground and yelp and automatically get a free kick.

It’s a fucking joke and drives me batty.

*Stalker alert*

I posted at half-time off my phone, I sit in the East Stand so hardly the loudest part of the ground.

*child like mindset alert* - it’s called being observational and your negative comments caught mine and others attention.

Sit in the East Stand? So what you’re saying is you don’t contribute to the atmosphere? If you aren’t part of the solution you are part of the problem. I’ve sat in the East stand plenty of times and had a decent sing, in fact was in Level 3 for the dippers game and it was brilliant up there.

Seems you have created a profile on here to come and slag off the amount of noise in the stadium. Why should we have to get on the refs back and make it hostile for them? What should happen is fair and consistent standards applied and not 50k fans singing the refs a wanker.

And in all my years of going to matches I have never thought, I’ll log on bluemoon and woman about the atmosphere.
