I do trust Pep, but like some of you, get frustrated with his lack of change in matches like today's.

Correct. I pay decent money to watch this and feel constantly short-changed.

Need to start penalising it like they do in cricket when the over rate is too slow.

Said exactly the same. And did last night too after Pawson at Liverpool. It’s an expensive do being a football fan and having to sit through a 90 minute game with the majority of it being out of play because of stoppages and time wasting is a load of shite. Something needs to be done about it and quick. Teams (Everton today, Southampton do it constantly against us too with results) will carry on doing it so it needs to be penalised.

Stoppage time in the WC lowered from the start until the end because teams realised it wasn’t worth it. Not difficult and was implemented in the space of 4 weeks. Jokers.

Him and Atwell, on Wednesday, are shite refs.
They both let them cheat, foul and time waste at will and done fuck all about it.
We need protection from refs as the opposition are talking too many liberties against us and it’s time to change how games are managed and go to how they were reffed in the World Cup. The cheating and time wasting would soon stop.

However, as a fanbase, it is our duty to get on the referee's back and put some pressure on. He wouldn't have got out of the ground alive elsewhere in the world after that today. Not condoning that, but he ruined that game today, not Everton.

We need to make this place a fortress in 2023, too many of these charlatans turning up on a Saturday and ruining the paying fan's experience. Roll on stop the clock, it'll put an end to so many negative teams, and actually help people like Madley and his brother who don't have the personality or stones to control a game of football that they are paid a small fortune to officiate.
