Notw claiming a 36 mill euro fee has been agreed with Benfica and city have already began negotiations with the players representatives.

A comment on the Notw website made me piss myself..... RAG ****

Tbh mate i'd take him, a very good player... quick strong tracks back with prem experience and imo very much a Hughes type player i can think of worse.

Well yeah i can think of worse but if we gonna go back to everton to be ripped off, i would rather buy jack rodwell, plenty other left wingers that put in the tracking back

Just had a phone call,he (Angel) signed all the preliminaries last night (sun) 36 mill.I'd presume its for the Jan window.

MANCHESTER CITY have been told to forget about signing Argie ace Angel Di Maria.

The Benfica winger, 21, is a January target for big-spending City boss Mark Hughes.

But the Portuguese giants' president Luis Filipe Vieira insist he is going nowhere.

Vieira said: "The Benfica fans can be calm. Di Maria will not leave the club in January.

"We know there is interest from big clubs in the kid but we need his help for many objectives like the Portuguese league."
