maybe Pellegrini is looking to maximize Dzeko? If we do sign Di Maria (although I doubt this is true) a lot of things we lacked last season, width, pace, crossing, mobility in midfield will all be rectified with Navas, Fernandinho and Di Maria.

Crap Sunday People rumour I think (not quite as bad as us triggering Falcao's release clause). Navas + Isco will be our wingers. Isco IS a winger if you play him on the left (15+ appearances there last season), he's just the modern Spanish winger whereas Navas is more the old fashioned winger. Isco can still glide past players but relies more on technique than pace.

Di Maria is class in abundance. Like Thiago/Isco, he's the type of player we should be looking at.
