Angela Epstein(MUEN) And Her Pathetic Attack On Wayne Bridge

I am amazed that the writer of that article would think it was a 'magnificent gesture', Toni Poole going to watch the game on Saturday.

Its weak IMO, once she found out what he had been up to, she should have packed her shit, grabbed the kids and left. How do you 'work out' something like that (if indeed that is what she intends to do?)

Only a matter of time before the marriage is over, leave now love, with your dignity (and a few million squid).

I read somewhere today that he has apologised about his affairs etc previously and she has 'forgiven' him on no less than NINE occasions! I just cannot work out why on earth the brave, stoic, innocent, virtuous Miss Poole continues to stay with her philandering millionaire football 'star'.....oh well.

I'm now convinced that you don't know what these things mean, if you looked at my argument and thought these apply.

Sure, aside from your little textbook straw man:

Your reduction of this argument to include anti-Semitic comments is basic trolling.

Given that the rest of your attempt at rebuttal was not a counterargument, but just a labeling of my points as "a reach," "laughable," and "ridiculous," you essentially posted a straw man and registered your disagreement. I stand by my original response.

not the point, you spew bile, you get it back. no discrimination needed.

No, that's not the point. If you want to debate her stupid column, have at it. It's easy enough to do, as her logic is as twisted as her arguments are flawed.

When you start busting out "woman, "dyke," and the like, you're no longer engaged in debate -- you're engaged in hate. And all you're doing is making some hack writer into The Good Guy. It's entirely self-defeating and makes you and the rest of us look bad. So just don't do it.

What's there to debate? it's a pile of crap. end of debate.

What a stupid post.

Your point about being wound up is reaching, at best.

Your point about the moral high ground is laughable.

Your reduction of this argument to include anti-Semitic comments is basic trolling.

Your point about your 'opinion' of other City fans is also ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure that you could have made a better post if you just smashed your head against the keyboard and clicked Submit on the result.

LOL. You call THAT an argument?

No, I call that a critique of his argument. I didn't make any points to make it an argument, which is why I said that when he called it Straw Man, he didn't know what he was talking about.

Anyone who thinks Bridge has done anything wrong in the way he's conducted himself since this broke is clearly a moron. As for that 'columnist' trying to compare Bridge and Terry's Mrs...laughable. Terry's Mrs knows that without him she would have a completely different way of life. Yes she could get money from a divorce, but when she's with Terry she gets the invites to the VIP events she wouldn't otherwise, she gets access to the England WAG culture she wouldn't otherwise and she gets status/feeling of self importance, thats why she's forgiven Terry's previous indiscretions and will forgive any others. Bridge refused to shake his hand, big deal. He didn't seek mindless retribution on the pitch like the coward Keane did with Haaland, he simply refused to shake the hands of a backstabbing slimeball. Time for these idiots in the media to get over it. Cheers for the 6 points Terry, see you next season.

No, I really didn't.

A straw man argument is one where I misrepresent your position, or distort it. I haven't done any of those things, I have given my opinion on your points without further explanation.

The appitamy (sorry if mispelt) of the man hating, leftist marxist, strap on wearing, power hungry slag. Typical of the MUEN to let the silly woman have the chance to blog this sort of bullshit. No doubt she runs secret campaigns of winning more power for women, while men get well and truly shit on. Wouldn't suprise me either if he, sorry, she is one of the plastics, wearing a red united shirt with the new Norw....Anti glazer scarf, who tells people that shes never been, but Loves Yoooooooni'ed.

I think many, many people on here are missing the point!

How does a journalist get noticed? How does a journalist get a better job (better than working for the MUEN)? How is a girl to make it in the big bad world of macho men?

Easy Peasy.

Be controversial. Be insulting. Be inflammatory... and all with style.

Julie Birchall made a career out of it, so she's only following on from that role model.

And the fact is that you've all fallen for it.

What is it now? 9 pages and growing?

You've all been had...

Bollocks.

She's gonna lose a lot of credibility for this, that's not gonna help her get very far. I very, very much doubt she's gonna get a better job for writing such incompetent stuff that is clearly way off the mark. Getting noticed is one thing but getting noticed for being shite is another

Because he works a night shift at Tesco's and earns 15k a year. They go out every now
and again when they can afford it, but he always puts the money on the table for the bills and the kids. He's a genuine hard working guy, who never get's a break, but deserves one.

That's why she loves her man and stays with him.
