Also, as we know, CL also has that rule for u20s who aren't HG in any form, but who have been with the club for 2 seasons and then don't have to be registered, which applied to Jesus recently as many know.
The cutoff date for the 2019/20 season is 1 January 1998. Everyone born before, including Angeliño (born 4 January 1997), needs to be registered as part of the 25-man squad. Since he spent more than 36 months with City before the age of 21, he will be considered a club-trained homegrown player.
It's not rocket science, lads.
Official Premier League and UEFA websites. I have never heard or read anything about players u23 or u20. It has always been u21.Just curious do you have a source for this? I've been trying to find one that is legit.

That sky sports sources understand, you mean.In a few hours, Jim White will tell us that he understands City are interested in Angelino.
Maybe in less official matches when they were younger, but Rodri basically broke into the senior team when Angelino started getting looks for their u21 side.Just out of a matter of interest, has angelino ever played with rodri before? 6 months in the difference in age so could be possible they played together underage Spain?
