Not too bad but I'd play Ederson instead of Cancelo although the way Cancelo is playing outfield iy may be his best position
 
Angelino is not good enough. He was given a go and failed. How can he perform so well in other teams but not ours?

Is it simply we had him playing in the wrong position or is it his mentality?

He does not posses the footballing qualities that is required in a pep team.He cld not pass, defend nor cross adequately. I felt sorry for him playing as he looked lost and had no confidence.

Good luck to him and I am glad he is doing well. Plays better in a counter attacking team.

1 he can deffiently cross a ball..
2 his range off passing was second to none,

Crossing is difficult in our team as
A we have have midgets up front
B we don’t hit on the break too much
if we signed a Haaland type and/ or brought through delap we’d improve on this massively

Yeah, I agree - I am surprised he has not really gotten a big chance at City under Pep so far. There's something there that Guardiola just isn't convinced by despite him looking every bit the part when on loan. Has the feel of it being a trust issue but hard to understand sticking with Mendy as first choice

I wonder had Zinchenko been moved this off season would he be at City

He isnt the athlete Walker is,but technically hes on another level and far more in tune with our magicians in midfield.He has had very limited opportunity to display his best game.

Can only go off what I’ve seen for City, which has been several levels below Walker. Kyle’s attributes such as his pace and physical presence are far more important to our team’s requirements considering they lack elsewhere.

Not seen anything to suggest he’s technically any good either tbh. Passing, crossing and decision making isn’t that good considering he lacks in other areas.

Sounds like more of a ‘the more someone doesn’t play the better they get’ scenario. I prefer him at full back over Mendy and Zinchenko but that’s not saying much.

Watching him play bud, his pass accuracy and ball control was not good enough. The more time he had to think about a pass or position he got it wrong. As I say when counter attacking and not having to think he is a very good player.

Yes I agree but calling for him to come back now that he is tearing it up at RB is not the way forward. He would only come back and fail in the system we play. Shame as I would of loved for him to have taken the role from mendy.

Yeah I know but if we are selling him at a lower fee it’d be good to have a buyback in case we change things up a bit post pep on tactics and personnel.

True but will we not still follow the dna Pep has brought to the club after he has gone?

Maybe Angelino should of been given more time to adjust? Pep deemed him not good enough for LB when we have serious issues with that position with Mendy either injured or crap and Cancelo hit and miss. Something does not add up. I can only assume Pep does not rate him.

Well Nagelsmann and pochetino have mentioned as successors, they aren’t identical to pep but not a million miles away either. Certainly it’s seems nagelsman can get a tune out of him. I don’t understand why a defensive coach be it zabba or anyone else, can’t work on the defensive side with him to at least make that side of his game Better, if not perfect. Cancelo too for that matter.
 
He's not much of a football fan. Pretty big stretch but I wonder if he struggled to fully understand what Pep wanted from him in training.

Angelino didn't exactly seize his minimal opportunities in matches for us but the likes of Mendy and Zinchenko have had plenty more shit performances for us and they have still made the starting eleven in spite of that.

The comparison has probably been made by someone else but he reminds me of Trippier a bit in that the decent performances I've seen have all come as a wingback at the side of a back three.

Watched the lad from youth level,plus loans,now your saying he got no ball control.am surprised anyone went him for him,1 off the best players in the league in Holland,
Only played 12 games(6PL) here which is nothing seeing it takes time to adjust to the system,
It's funny the Delph/ Zink who played full backs get applauded first time they play there even tho there natural position is midfield then all of a sudden there fking shit and should get rid off.
Besides aka, & after Zabba only Walker is a true class fb,
I still think he a better option than what we've got at present..
