Angelino

yep, Guerreiro is a cracking player! Angelino just seems suited to the German league?

We should make a move quickly though. I have a feeling PSG might be watching him very closely as well. He was born in France and lived there until his 20s so they've fancied him for a while now.

Angelino has been solid in the bundesliga for leipzig thats why their fans want to buy him, hes improved as a defender maybe thats down to Nagelsmann. also comes into midfield alot

I still think we should move him on (same with Adarabioyo). He is at the age where he got to be playing regular football. Whether it comes back to bite us is another matter.
When we’re playing Cancelo at left-wingback in our biggest game of the season, I’d suggest the teeth marks are already visible in our arses. ;-)

What constitutes ‘regular football’? Should Jesus and Foden move on as well?

We are already making losses on numerous players this season, in relation to their presumed value and what we projected we might receive, and I cannot see RBL changing their tune, so we’re unlikely to find a taker unless we drop the agreed price. It doesn’t make sense to do that then offer another club (Angers wanted €30m) for someone untried. Whom should we sign instead?

As I said there aren't any left backs currently on the market that could really help. But messing Angelino about shouldn't be on the agenda either. He barely featured under Pep and it will be the same if he returned.

Twelve starts for us nineteen for RBL.

If he wants to return and fight for a spot, we’re hardly messing him about. He knows the competition and probably fancies his chances now that he’s seen it’s not that good; he’s also probably brimming with confidence given his CL exploits. If it doesn’t work out, fair enough, he can go elsewhere. Our defence is a shambles, and as you admit, there are no other options on the market, so why shoot ourselves in the foot? Again.

We aren't making the same mistake twice in promsing starts and barely playing him despite a succesful loan spell. Pep wasn't completely convinced (the lack of starts should be telling where he was in the pecking order despite the weaknesses) and Angelino was proactive and decided to get more game time rather than stick around.
