As a club trained HG player he'd be really valuable to us in the squad. We could effectively add him without thinking about squad limits/foreign player caps at all.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we were just flipping him and he went to a club like PSG for €25m and did very well given the LB situation at the moment.

At age 22, Angeliño is getting an important name in European football. Spanish international sub-21, his return to the City is a request of Pep Guardiola, who three years ago, when the Galician only had 19, and made the preseason at the orders of the Spanish coach. That summer he made his debut in the Champions League qualifying against Steaua Bucharest. Guardiola kept him working with the first team until December 2016, when he left on loan to Girona. The southpaw also participated in the EFL Cup match between City and Swansea, in which he scored a great performance. Already before, Pellegrini had made it debut in the Premier.

it's literally a win win. we sign one of europe's best young left backs for peanuts and he's club trained, which means he effectively doesn't take a squad space.

this is so obvious, when Zinchenko is still developing and Mendy is always a doubt.

No way would we sell a player to PSG by the way.

I thought that about Zinchenko at left back however once Pep gets a player in a system it seems to work.

at that price, and presumably low wages, we could sign him and if he's unneeded, sell him for a reasonable profit next year. it's a no-brainer IMO.
