Was in Darlaston the other day and recalled reading this thread with great interest so I did some digging (not literally) about as to Anna's final resting place.
After asking about I was given the details of the Walsall Local History Centre, which covers Darlaston. I contacted them, gave them all the info I have (which all comes from this thread by the way, and thank you all for it) and they phoned me back an hour ago.
There is no record of Anna being buried in the municipal graveyard (James Bridge Cemetry). However, they informed me that Rev John Dixon was rector of St Lawrences in Darlaston between 1913 and 1924 (the year of Anna's death).
Assuming that her brother-in-law would have had a big part to play in her funeral I contacted Lichfield Diocese, with a view to approaching St Lawrences directly, and they have given me the details of their archivist (a Mrs Mithra Tonking, [great name]). I have just e-mailed her with a request to find out as much info as possible on Rev John Dixon that relates to Anna.
Will update you as soon as she replies (assuming she does)
