I don't know whether i'm being too judgemental and i'm not expecting anyone to jump in front of the knife but surely the people there could have helped the man trying to distract him with the rucksack. I know it's easily said from behind my laptop but I can't help but feel that other men being present may have distracted him if nothing else. I accept that none of us know what we would do in that situation though.
