No doubt he’ll be blamed somewhere along the way.

Looks like BoJo and his backers have been selling sterling since the election win. Now need to 'buy it back' at a much lower price, cue BoJo announcing no extension going into the legislation. And so it continues.
Meanwhile, democracy moves on a pace as Zac Goldsmith is being made into a Lord, joining Nicky Morgan and staying in Government. Unelected officials being swept away quicker than you can say oven ready Brexit..

So much for a period of stability thanks to the large Conservative majority.
I think we're back to talking bollocks.Think we are back to ‘fuck business’ :)
Looks more to me like "lets manipulate the market and make some money".Think we are back to ‘fuck business’ :)
Yep, especially if certain people can make some money by anticipating the fluctuations.I think we're back to talking bollocks.
GBP/USD 11th December = 1.30
GBP/USD 17th December = 1.31
Crashes like that, we can live with I think.
The comments are brilliant though.Interesting article about Brexit uncertainty in the Daily Brexpress

Yep, just seen a load about people making money about the manipulation of the markets, but rather than accusing those actually doing the manipulating, its Soros and shadowy nameless banking families getting accused. Where have I heard that before? The comments are brilliant though.
"Have you notice in the rhetoric from the EU that they want to ensure a "level playing field" with the UK....In other words they don't want us to compete against them. Why the hell do they think we are leaving?....we are leaving to become competitors so that good old Blighty can leave the EU trailing in our dust!"
"By enshrining in law not to extend the transition period beyond December 2020, Mr Johnson is cutting the amount of time has has to strike a deal from nearly three years." That is excellent because one thing guaranteed is that if it could the EU would keep on extending as long as it was getting paid by the UK."
"I'm so glad Boris is PM and not Teressa May. We can only have a deal with the EU if they are threatened with no deal and WTO. The threat will only be taken seriously if we are prepared to act on it. With Boris at the helm, there is no doubt he will do it and if any deal looks like May's deal then we would be better off under WTO rules. You don't pay money to be allowed a trading relationship in which you have a trade deficit."
its beginning to look a lot like Christmas....
Old guy with a beard, dressed mostly in red, spent December promising goodies for all and sundry?
Sorry, mate, he resigned on Friday.
the guy you talk about will still be leader at Christmas
he won’t , he can’t be that daft.
I’m guessing he’s just negotiating.

He is proposing to remove the option and Parliament will decide if MP's should have that right.Johnson is removing the right of MPs to decide on an extension making it easier to extend. We went through this last time with everyone fussing about the need to put a definitive date of 29th March 2019 in the WA to make sure we stuck to it. So we did and we didn’t.
Also there is not one example of any trade negotiation between two countries, let alone one country with 27, were someone thought ‘you know what this negotiation needs? An artificial self imposed timeframe’. It’s dick waving on steroids. Which to be fair has been pretty much our negotiating strategy for the last three years.
Yep it's worked really well. We forced the EU into agreeing a change to the WA that they happily offered us years ago which included an intra-UK border; something that no UK PM would ever agree to. I wonder what Johnson will agree to in terms of trade that no UK PM would ever agree to - making UK industry and agriculture uncompetitive maybe so we can get a great deal on fish and keep government promises to the fish supporting Brexiteers?Johnson is removing the right of MPs to decide on an extension making it easier to extend. That is our democracy. Parliament makes the laws and rights MP's have and can instill or remove them at any time. I can't remember you complaining when the opposition was ensuring that no deal was taken off the table and MP's "right" to vote in favour of it, being removed.
