EU will not be starting Brexit talks until March which is surprising given the limited timeframe but is perhaps partly explained by this observation from the Eurasia Group

‘After spending week in Bxl, 2 imp observations. 1/ EU priorities in 1st half of year decisively *not* UK-EU trade talks but EU budget, climate, digitization, US/China/WTO trade tensions. 2/ Price EU will seek for a zero/zero deal *far* from settled. Could go well beyond Level Playing Field & fish’

Notice; ALL the pro-EU MEP's are saying that the whole idea, the concept of the EU was for eventual total political integration.

That's the argument that has been presented as a "fallacy" by some, and presented as an obvious fact we "agreed" to, when we first joined the EEC.

Some of us may have been in favour of it in 1975, but many of us have since changed our minds and for those of my age, we were never given the choice to begin with.

If their actions are anything to go buy expect no deals to happen in the next 10 months.

Just watching the Farage documentary on C4. Amazing how he was played by the Tories and how long it took for it to sink in with him. I cannot agree with his views his sentiments or his politics but his sum up of the Tories REAL approach to Brexit is revealing.
