It’s a sad indictment that The Mail and The Sun are far and away the most popular newspapers in this country. It explains a lot.
At least the Express, with their daily articles about killer asteroids hitting the earth, are still playing catch up.

Anyhow, didn't you do a bit of writing for the sun?

We have nothing to offer that would make it worth their while. Poland has more to gain from keeping EU unanimity then they do from breaking it. At some point in the future Poland, like Ireland, may need the support of the other 26 nations so it’s interests are best served through solidarity rather than selling out to a non EU country like the U.K.

Poland’s main concern is the treatment of its citizens living in the U.K. post Brexit and on that our Home Office has not covered itself in glory. The Italian Parliament has already raised the issue about ensuring its citizens are not subject to a ‘Windrush’ scandal.
This plonker gave it an unofficial go in March https://inews.co.uk/news/brexit/daniel-kawczynski-poland-no-deal-brexit-article-50-block-extension/ are the same right wing justice party still in control of government there?

Yeah its the same mob and it’s the same play they tried in March to Poland and Hungary. Didn’t work then and won’t work now. The country they should try is France but I suspect going cap in hand to the French is not something they could endure.

Barclay is probably in Poland for tips on how to get rid of an independent judiciary and appoint party flunkies in their place. It’s the direction we are heading in.

They are and they shot it down last time. Maybe if they had guarantees on their UK based citizen's rights after Brexit they might have changed stance. In any case it'll be extended to allow for a GE.
I think you are doing a BoJo there

There doesn't seem an official reason for Barclay's visit here's the UK Ambassador setting the tone - apparently the Poles have prorogued Parliament early and suspended their legislature - neat move!

Worth a watch/listen

It's probably no surprise to the Remainers on here but I think Bridgen was perfectly consistent in that interview and on most occasions answered the unnecessarily hostile questions accurately. It's not that I agree with any of his central argument but that Sebastian actually managed to make him look measured! The problem with many on both sides of the debate is that they think the democratic process should only be about the issues they are concerned with and not what the electorate want to be to be addressed. Politics is about gaining power through the support of the people for solving their problems not about what your own party's shibboleths are .

I see the massive brained David Davis is at it again. Apparently the government have a ‘legal plan’ to overturn the Benn Bill. He doesn’t know what it is but he knows it’s there. By doing that, BJ can hold the ‘sword of Damocles’ threat of no deal, over the head of ‘them’ the EU, not us.
He obviously still thinks it’ll be much worse for the EU than it will be for us.
Mind you, he also said: There will be no downside to Brexit only a considerable upside.....

Have to laugh.
That stupid new leader of the liberal democrats have voted to revoke article 50 and cancel the referendum.
They have democrats as part of their title yet they advocate ignoring 17 million people like me who voted leave.
Let's hope that stupid witch gets trounced I'm the election.
Get it done Boris!!!!

As we’re a parliamentary democracy, if they were to win a majority whilst having revoke as their key policy, it would be entirely democratic of them to revoke.

I would prefer another referendum as I think a move to revoke wouldn’t settle the issue, in a social sense in this country but the elected government of the UK has a greater mandate than a piece of direct democracy from three years ago.

Ok how about the best of 3?
Throw in a penalty shoot out?
Too be honest I'm past caring, I hate all mps and I hate this country now sadly.
I'll never ever vote again.

What would be the point of having a best of three?

You need to realise politics isn’t a sporting contest.

Why do you hate all MP’s? There are MP’s from almost every side of the argument and every position on both Brexit and politics in general.

There’s surely some that you like.

Nope not a single one.
