It’s fucking rich all these MPs asking the pm to tone down his language and throwing in dead MP as some kind of moral high ground They have absolutely slated him called him a liar all the names under the sun and said he should resign for the last 3 hours

It’s like all 649 MPs are allowed to stand up call him a **** and that’s fine but if he says anything he is a ****.

Here is another daft bitch slagging him off, but that’s fine

They not calling him a ****. They, particularly the women, are asking him to moderate his divisive language given one of their colleagues was murdered over this divisive issue. Johnson is the PM. He has a duty to lead. Set an example. So far he is failing to do any of this and failing to do so in a spectacular fashion.

If people are genuine are about wanting to heal divisions then it’s going to have to start somewhere and at the top would be good place to start. All Johnson has done in the last two months has deepened divisions and the toxic fug that is engulfing us.

Bollox questioning the pm has become a free for all where mps all of them have their chance , not to question the pm but to stand up and just abuse him or her .

Does the pm agree with me that ( insert abuse )

Tell me what the last 3 hours have achieved other than allow numerous mps to have a go at the pm like a pack of dogs

Have the GE win and stay in or rejoin immediately it's that simple. Johnson is doomed so what are they worried about unless they realise they wont win. It's a really poor choice for the electorate either an opposition so poor that people would rather vote for one of the most inept PMs and a party that is also deeply unpopular or one policy parties like the Lib Dems, the Brexit Party or the SNP.

It shouldn't be like this.
Any GE would require Parliament to be suspended giving the government the opportunity to engineer a No Deal departure. It really isn’t that difficult to understand why the opposition want a No Deal Brexit absolutely ruled out before agreeing to the election.

Easy they can write into the Motion calling the election that until the new govt is formed the existing serving govt will not leave the Eu with no deal under any circumstance

I’ve not seen, heard or read anyone serious about healing the divisions.

They haven’t even started yet imo.

There is no excuse, it's a pathetic avoidance because they will get destroyed at the polls.

You keep saying this.
.
But apart from it being tripe of course, what paricular things do you think these evil Tories would do exactly?

I'd be interested in hearing what is praying on your mind? Or whether it's just more tired and meaningless anti-Tory drivel? I feel certain it's the latter, but if you have genuine concerns which fit the "most dangerous government in history" hyperbole, then let's hear them.
I can answer this one. I would describe this government as the most dangerous in modern history simply because they are undermining the validity of the justice and parliamentary system in this country. By Johnson refusing to accept that the views of the 11 most senior judges in this nation might be correct, and painting this as some kind of 'people vs the elite' battle, he is tapping into very dangerous forces. You only have to look throughout history to see where this can lead. I appreciate you are a conservative voter, and I assume that means that you are economically more right wing. You believe in a small state, unfettered markets etc etc? That is not what this is about. This version of the tory party leadership are whipping up mob sentiments in this country for their own political goals and putting the legitimacy of our democracy at stake in the eyes of many people. The argument that this is somehow a 'remainer' plot holds no water either as if May had put a deal in place in consult with the opposition that would have passed, I have no doubt we would have left now. May's only concern was a deal that kept her party together, that is why the referendum result has not been enacted. Johnson, a perfect example of aristocratic entitlement, claiming to be the voice of the people is disgusting to watch. What saddens me is so many people are eating up this shite and believing it.

Completed disagree. An election in November or December will happen anyway so what’s the difference? The opposition are in a position to set the date whenever they want so why wouldn’t they choose a time to suit themselves rather than the government.

You mean the PM who can’t win a vote, suspended Parliament unlawfully, lied about it and started by attacking the opposition, refused to confirm he will follow the law and called the Benn Act a ‘surrender document’ which along with ‘betrayal’ and ‘treachery’ is precisely the framing that led to Jo Cox being murdered. When asked to tone down the rhetoric he dismissed it with contempt.

Johnson is attempting to set up a narrative of ‘the people’ against MPs, Judges etc and encouraging attacks on anyone seen to be ‘getting in the way’. That will not lead us to Brexit but a shattered country.

Yes the best option from Labour's point of view is not to have an election. It will be the same in November.
Either way the opposition have been jeering from the benches all year, then asked when to take it to the people, are terrified of doing so. Pathetic.

Because this is all about trying to weaken Johnson and the government as much as possible, and has nothing to do with preventing a no deal Brexit, which has already been prevented anyway. Notwithstanding the damage to our reputation abroad and to our political system as a whole, Corbyn chooses political expediency and personal gain over doing what's right. No surprises there of course, it's what he always does. Even the lefties on here have admitted it.

Well I hope it backfires on him horribly and the polls suggest it might very well do,

Also Johnson is the first politician I’ve seen who literally makes stuff up on a daily basis. All politicians stretch the truth to suit their position and usually have to resign if they get caught out blatantly lying. Johnson lies every day. That is dangerous. He’s no better than Trump.

Do you really want Johnson to remain as PM?

Assuming he meant British governments, you'd have to think of governments that have offended against the Scottish Claim of Right cited by the Supreme Court. "Parliaments ought to be frequently called and allowed to sit and the freedom of speech and debate secured to the members." On the face of it, this government invented a duplicitous reason to prevent that role of Parliament. If you can't see why a government 50 short of a majority trying to shut down Parliament unlawfully is dangerous, can you think of a more dangerous government?

It’s not it’s all of them the level of true debate in that house has long gone . The way the tories abuse Corbyn is just as bad as the way labour abuse Boris or may.

I don’t particularly like any of them but this abuse and constant negativity and conflict is just not helping anything it’s pathetic

It’s the House of Commons not bluemoon!

What's really dangerous is the number of people who've set aside their critical thinking to support Johnson because 'he wants what they want'.

That depends how soon he resigns.
