With an extension, yes.I’m sure these proposals can be amended to reflect any concerns there may be, probably would be best for everyone to focus on trying to reach a sensible compromise.

RTE reporting he will ask for an extension.![]()
“Sorry guys, practice is off. Says he’s now going to ask for one!”
No we just leave the EU like the rest of the UK.So you advocate Ireland joining a customs union, a single currency, a single market, no border controls yet support Brexit.
How do you square that off?
Yes, I think he has some devious scheme to make the extension unworkable, he really seems to believe that he is above the law. He's up to something I think.
I don't know what, but my gut says he'll do something to ensure that his written request will be rejected by at least one country.
Has he been ordered to write a professional request or can he be as rude as possible? He's up to something I think.

As I answered after your post George and also last night. With an extension, what was proposed could be seen as a starting point of a genuine negotiation.I did read your posts on this last night and the Guardian article but surely abusing the cross-community mechanisms discussed would be ruled out of the process?
Are you even remotely surprised? He’s a lying fucking ****.Fuck me. So he really is saying one thing in public and something completely different in private. What a fucking prick.
They might even go as far as to stop calling him ‘Boris’.The leave voters on here that are backing him will soon hate him more than we do.
It’ll turn full circle on him.
Normally I'd agree with you but these aren't normal times, perhaps I could be overthinking it but I'm not inclined to believe him after this statement in court anymore than what I believe he says in parliament. The court document today confirms 2 things: that he will send the letter requesting an extension and that he wont frustrate the intention of the letter. Difficult to see how he gets round this, any attempt to wriggle out and he will be in court.
Keep your eyes on those Poles ;)He's up to something I think.

I've heard potential theories about Hungary vetoing as well.Keep your eyes on those Poles ;)
Foreign collusion is de rigeur among our parliamentarians these days.I've heard potential theories about Hungary vetoing as well.
Foriegn collusion isn't a tactic I put beyond him, after all he does seem to model himself after Cheeto hands across the pond

SNP MP Joanna Cherry QC, one of the lawyers leading the case in Scotland, has called for “a formal binding undertaking” to ensure the prime minister abides by the commitments made in the court documents.

No, not even in the slightest. Perfect example was the other day, the deal he described to the tory conference wasn't the same deal he's given to europe, but he's going on the (probably correct) assumption that enough people will believe his bullshit, he'll win the next election, and he'll get away with this shit. Again. Are you even remotely surprised? He’s a lying fucking ****.
