Jim Fitzpatrick saying that he has been made aware that Labour MP's backing the deal wont be punished by the party.
You say it’s off the table, but did you see John Barron’s interview earlier today? Not surprised why some MPs have serious reservations.
Why take that chance , what on earth is the problem with the deal, given MPs were rightly seeking to avoid no deal they have their wish.
Apparently protection of workers rights etc is not completely ratified in the agreement and could be removed in an amendment by Johnson after the deal is voted through the house.
Apart from the erosion of workers rights, the fact that we’ll all be considerably worse off financially as a result of it, and the possible break up of the United Kingdom as we know it? ;)what on earth is the problem with the deal

There's plenty of research on the attitudes of Brexit supporters to other social issues. Let's just say they tend not to be "progressive".

Didn't know that, ta mate. Not without parliaments consent they couldn't.

That's cos Jezz is such a nice considerate kinda guy.Jim Fitzpatrick saying that he has been made aware that Labour MP's backing the deal wont be punished by the party.
Which he will do,he has proved himself to be a liar and not to be trustedApparently protection of workers rights etc is not completely ratified in the agreement and could be removed in an amendment by Johnson after the deal is voted through the house.
Which is correct, something as important as this should be a free voteJim Fitzpatrick saying that he has been made aware that Labour MP's backing the deal wont be punished by the party.
No deal is not off the table it's the default position in 14 months time.yeah i really dont have that much of an issue with it and i can actually see that Labour MP's could end up supporting the agreement if they are assured that no deal is finally off the table.
It has to be very time limited though and not an excuse for further amendments designed to just frustrate and i dont think the EU would allow time for that either.
I think we’re straying from the original point a bit here though. You asked why the Letwin amendment was necessary as you felt no deal had been taken off the table, but clearly a number of MPs are concerned that it hasn’t in the long term. Perhaps understandably in the light of some comments today. We had a referendum do you remember ?
This is the compromise position leaving with a deal
Leaving without a deal ; or
Revoking
Does not solve the division in the country. It’s time to be pragmatic.
Did she use just her tongue or did she bring her teeth into it as well?Just watched Laura Kuenssberg apparently ‘grill’ Boris Johnson, well that’s how the BBC describe it. Sous vide more like. God give us someone like Brian Walden.
A good reason not to have a GE then. Not without parliaments consent they couldn't.

I do think that such a monumentally important piece of legislation can’t be rushed through in a few hours tomorrow. It must be properly scrutinised and discussed in Parliament, even if that means a short extension.
