Wait for Trump to win a second term; the carnage in ‘off topic politics sub forum’ will be absolutely (fucking hilarious) just too sad to contemplate.Who knew post-brexit stress disorder was a thing
What the hell
Seems like a fair comparison
The only reason that you are amazed is that you are misunderstanding what is attracting the commentsI'd revise that only to say that I don't think she thought the reasons for leaving were thin; that's my gloss.
I just remain amazed that this has generated so much angst from people who didn't (or won't) listen to it.
My simply pointing out that the opposition parties had that option in the Autumn caused much angst and denialI don't know, if it means they keep shooting themselves in the foot by being patronising and alienating (over) half the population I'm fine with it. The daft buggers could easily have derailed brexit if they'd have been less blinkered - long may it continue.

I keep getting echoes of Corbyn's insistence - ".....we won the argument...."I'd revise that only to say that I don't think she thought the reasons for leaving were thin; that's my gloss.

What is all that stuff I hear on the news about Stormont - that is not some other outcome that the bumbling fool as lucked onto is it?They had the government defeated and revoke within reach or at the very least a second ref yet they couldn't see the wood for the trees and got greedy.
The bumbling fool played them all.

Disagree. The problem was Swinson and Corbyn refused to work together on the defining issue of the times because they disagree on a whole host of issues other than the defining issue of the times.
And now they’re both out of a job. Had they acted in the nation’s best interests (as they saw it) there would have been nothing BJ could have don’t about it.
Thats what i have said mate.
They had it within reach and he goaded them into the election and they fell for it because ultimately politicians just cant resist that shot at power.
Sorry, what I’m disagreeing with is the idea that they got played by Johnson. There was absolutely nothing he could have done had Corbyn and Swinson acted together. He held on for grim life until they fucked it up.
Racism stole the ref. Post after post saying otherwise just adds to the rest of the lies. :)I've no issue whatsoever with the FTA being debated and critiqued as and when details of it emerge.
Post after post retweeting bilge telling me how thick i was 3 years on isn't debate or disagreement, its fucking annoying, counter productive and getting people nowhere.
If it's still here by that pointWait for Trump to win a second term; the carnage in ‘off topic politics sub forum’ will be absolutely (fucking hilarious) just too sad to contemplate.

Or you know, brexit is crap3 years of Parliament faffing about trying to delay/overturn the result.
He played them with the election. They just couldn't resist but should have done and had they done so they would have eventually binned brexit off imo.
We are actually agreeing here but in different ways.
I agree we are agreeing, there is a minor difference in emphasis in relation to Johnson’s role. As I see it, he was dead in the water - unable to call an election and without a majority. He lost 8 votes out of 8 and could do nothing about it. I don’t see any strategic cunning behind him goading them into an election, I see it as the only option he had. Where he lucked out was with an opposition that cared more about what benefited their parties than what benefited the country.
Yeah, nahOr you know, brexit is crap
