Nearly as sad as those 1970's 'in' voters who thought their jobs at British Leyland would be saved. Rather predictably all the economic woes created by covid will now be laid at the door of brexit by cynical bitter remainers in an attempt to be 'right'. Utterly transparent.
Worst case for the government and No Deal cheerleaders will be an obvious upturn in the sectors most affected by Covid and no second wave. The Brexit woes will be in different sectors - areas largely unaffected by Covid - and cause and effect will be rather more transparent than you think.

Don't normally respond to tantrums, but I'll make an exception as you are clearly upset. Leavers did their bit, but we could not have got from where we were in March last year to where we are now without the help of remainers both in and out of parliament. I would personally like to thank you all.
We are indeed truly grateful for their sterling efforts in parliament, which
not only ensured that the wrecking tactics were completely defeated, after
years of trying, the ultimate joy is the subsequent response.

ouch.

don’t forget All of this also turned many lifelong labour supporters to vote Tory for the first time as well. Some Skills that.

thanks Gina .
Lol, indeed, not only did all her plotting and pro EU subterfuge end up down the shitter,
it actually boosted the Tory vote by a massive margin.
Whatever the fuck it is she does for a living, it's not exactly a plus on her CV.

You do realise that in that clip the interviewer asks are the British government lying and the MEP answered, yes its a lie.

So you applaud the fact the government is lying to you.
Eh???
The interviewer is interviewing one Phillippe Lamberts, who is a Belgian
MEP, in their parliament. The adoration you guys have for all things
EU now extends to blind support of an organisation we're no longer a part
of, and everything about them must be held as gospel. He says the UK
govt. has become a 'Brexit Party,' well that's very perceptive, at least they're
now starting to get the message.

The simple answer is they love being lied to - don't you realise that the WTO rules - the non-existent EU/Australia trade deal are a huge inflatable crash mat at the foot of the cliff they are dragging us all over it will all be soft and bouncy when we land - nothing to do with hard beach and jagged rocks.....

Its pretty sad that they cheer on the lies because the earlier lies that they believed are still swirling around their simple minds.

And it really was/is the gift that keeps on giving......

All those years of Remainer high-handed smugness on here have been replaced by 6 months (and counting) of bitterness and quivering bottom lips - they can give it out, but.....

And, of course, every day we get several doses of outright denial of inconvenient truths - some of them are becoming a collective parody.

We have years of this ahead of us.

Should the (Brexit related) economic tsunami stubbornly fail to materialise, I forecast no end of creativity in ways to still apportion blame as the Remainers squirm.
