Would prefer 3 or 5 - but that is a win for the UKBreakthrough on fish...7 years on transition...UK offered 3, EU wanted 10.
LPF the last hurdle...
7 years will fly by and then we can squeeze that lemon again

Pmsl.Would prefer 3 or 5 - but that is a win for the UK

If I had the time or interest I would try and work out what point you are trying to make hereBut then he's just leaked the UK government's secret assessments of the damage No Deal would do. (One theory - those estimates would not be a surprise to the EU, it's why they have played hardball because they know that we know how damaging No Deal would be to the UK; but when the deal is done, Johnson can tell the ERG ultras "how can you vote against it, now that is public knowledge?")
From September 2019
And I think we're still waiting for the posts to justify...
"Even in recent days we have some of the main Remainers stating that the UK will simply have to suck it up
Shall I post some examples?"
Sorry - you clearly do not understand the basics on thisPmsl.
You’re right though. It will be sold as our win. Utterly meaningless in the scheme of things. Let’s see what the quid pro quo is on LPF and governance.
What BRINO? Only in your mind.Good call
And - if your assertion of years that there will be a deal in the end proves to be the truth .......
Whatever concessions are made by the UK 'at the death' - it will be a more robust Brexit than ever seemed possible in 2017-2019
So all Leavers should celebrate that
IMO - Any attempt to paint it otherwise can logically only be Remainers not able to face up to the reality - or accept that they should have backed May's BRINO and not held out for cake and eat it
Odd phrase for ruining Dutch fishing communities.Would prefer 3 or 5 - but that is a win for the UK
7 years will fly by and then we can squeeze that lemon again
The point is that in the scheme of things fish are irrelevant. 0.02% of our GDP, so a victory on fish means very little, and as I predicted we got one. Although a 7 year transition isn’t quite the victory I expected. Let’s see what happens on the issues that affect the other 99.9% of the population.Sorry - you clearly do not understand the basics on this
3, 5, 7 or 10 years extension is better than a much increased quota for the UK on an in perpetuity basis - not my fault if the obvious logic passes you by
The man has a point @mcfc1632I will read it and may come back if I deem it important enough.
Am I reading your post correctly though. 'I am considerably smarter than you lot and i bet you can't guess what I'm thinking albeit the truth should be obvious to anyone that isn't a complete moron. However if anyone responds I reserve the right 1) not to reply because I don't like you 2) to be condescending and patronise your worthy but ultimately intellectually lacking attempt'
Did I miss anything?
Simply, I think you're twisting the words of what Remainers have said about the EU not compromising. Like the claim that "Even in recent days we have some of the main Remainers stating that the UK will simply have to suck it up".If I had the time or interest I would try and work out what point you are trying to make here
On a single quick read you simply seem to be supporting what I said in the post that you quoted - but it was a bit incoherent
Mate, I think you will find I have consistently said that. Maybe you just weren’t listening.Ha - but you are not repeating what the main Remainers have said on here for years
They have been saying that the EU will totally dominate the UK in these Negotiations and...
They have been saying that the UK will have to simply accept
It was in the face of this that I first expressed:
""We will not see movement from the EU unless and until they are faced with the prospect of a viable walk-away option – and the political will to use it”
And you seem to be agreeing with that - also Ric and others - but the for years that view has been repeatedly derided - that is the truth
And - after the fuckwittery of May/Robbins for 3 years - 2020 has been a better outcome for the UK in these negotiations
Another reality is that all the UK citizens on this thread should welcome that fact.
The 'new' is that the EU have had to come to believe that the UK are not going to extend and that the UK might well leave anyway - after 2017-2019 - that is a very big NEW.
Also, it proves the point that I have been making - and only repeating because Remainers deride and refute that simple fact.
Finned cunts. The point is that in the scheme of things fish are irrelevant. 0.02% of our GDP, so a victory on fish means very little, and as I predicted we got one. And uniquely right obviously.I feel like whatever the outcome is from here, @mcfc1632 will claim that it proves that he was indeed right all along!
Fish are bastards.Finned cunts.
Nailed onI feel like whatever the outcome is from here, @mcfc1632 will claim that it proves that he was indeed right all along!
I admit it's passing me by. If he won't explain, can any of his sycophants explain the obvious logic?Sorry - you clearly do not understand the basics on this

You’ll catch a few with thatJust had a trawl through the last few pages, I wonder if the French took the bait and they’ve scaled back their plans, maybe we schooled them.
