The Tory party's worse outcome - from my POV - would be to see a BRINO outcome and/or continuing negotiations.
If this comes to an end now - either way - then they have 4 years to invest where they will to persuade the electorate that they are 'levelling up' etc and then they can point to a series of significant things that they have changed and how some of these would not have been possible without being free of EU state aid regulations.........
4 years is a long time - and the government can borrow a lot - what they cannot afford is more months lost just chatting shit and getting nowhere. Conversely - that is what the EU would love - they have wanted an extension throughout 2020 - and then they could just relax back to the same old positions. No - for the UK's benefit - the EU have needed to be in a position where the negotiations are going to end and no-deal could be an outcome
You seen the state of this with just the EU playing a bit of politics? No Deal is not a viable option.
