It’ll be stuck on a lorry in Calais anyway. Will be a shame for those getting the champagne ready for the great not deal.
I think you’re on the wrong thread mate. This is the Brexit one.I was brought up in a Labour Party supporting family and remember the 3 day week, bread strikes, the winter of discontent and bodies not being buried. My teenage years saw Thatcherism and I was indoctrinated to hate her. I joined the Army at the height of the Miners' Strike as there was no opportunities for young people from the north. The 1st thing I remember my platoon sergeant saying was that once you've served your country you will all vote conservative. At the time I remember hating him and thinking he was an arrogant sod. Strange how with maturity and considered hindsight I now realise that all those problems of the 70's and Thatcher's medicine of the 80's were caused by socialism and its failed ideologies. The Labour Party of post war Britain has long evaporated into a haven for liberal idiots to voice their nonsense policies that no longer identify with the British working class. In effect, that British working class man is now the new conservative. I include myself amongst them and if you had told me that 40 years since I'd have said you were lying. In effect, where once Conservatives were considered to represent those of privilege and Labour those of limited outlook, the argument has now become about people's view of their nation. Conservatives are proud of Britain, its history and what it stands for. Labour Party supporters have no pride in their country and could not raise a bloody pitchfork if Hitler was robbing their home. It's as simple as that, there are no shades of grey, you either support your nation's efforts or you vote Labour.

Hope the vineyards aren’t next to the M20 with amount of piss that will be leaching into the soil from the side of the motorway. There are some excellent British sparkling wines made the the champagne style. Most are from Kent and Sussex so could face a similar problem but they are good thanks to global warming and the fact they sit on the north side of the Paris basin so have chalky soil as in champagne. Look them up there are some great wines - nearly 70% of British wines are sparkling varieties

I hardly dare hope. Can you imagine getting off the plane and reading that?Sounds promising

Clearly it’s a huge victory for the UK! Anyone with any insight and understanding would know that but obviously I’m not going to explain why to the peasants.I hardly dare hope. Can you imagine getting off the plane and reading that?

Boris wants to the EU to walk away so he can play the victim. They aren't.
They are taking the piss out of all of us.

I‘m certainly not his biggest fan but watching Boris today... I’m not sure whether he’s recovered from having Covid.... he looked all over the place. I don’t think he answered any of the questions. I know politicians rarely do but at one point he admitted he’d forgotten the question. He looks completely out of his depth, setting aside party politics he's a dreadful leader and wholly unsuited to this predicament.
Working class Tories. The worst type.Looks like Worsley has got another account.
I hardly dare hope. Can you imagine getting off the plane and reading that?
Johnson wants that sweet, sweet deal. But only on the last day of the year so no one can point out it’s a crock of shit. Still better than nowt, I guess.
