He's not the only one in Parliament who'll have read it. If there was something genuinely disingenuous about this deal it'd be all over the papers by now.

Im not saying the deal is disingenuous, I’m saying what Johnson is saying about it is. The deal itself is pretty clear to me. Annoying personally due to the amount of extra work, but it’s clear at least.

when I first came on this thread I didn’t think you could write. I thought you only communicated in

Even remainers must think thank fuck it’s over and thank fuck we have a deal. Surely?
I know it’s not optimum as you obvs wanted to remain but leaving with a deal has to be the best outcome given the division in society this horrible referendum caused.

the eu unanimously approved it and it got a healthy vote in parliament so it must be fair to both sides. Let’s hope so.

That's my feeling on it too. Draw a line, we're still trading, we're still in conference with Europe, just not tied to it. We're no longer married, we're "seeing other people".

Sad at what we’re losing, but obviously glad a deal was done, given the alternative. Would be more relieved if I thought the arguments (on here particularly, but in society generally) actually were over, but I suspect they’ll linger for some time yet.

I think they’ve pretty much gone from society other than a few tinternet squabbles.

Nobody I know has mentioned Brexit since the election.

Well of course they will; they became too personal.

I've been on other threads and had 'brexit related' stances aimed at me on a topic completely unrelated.

It's up to all of us to be mature about things and ignore it, which is something I plan on doing moving forward. I'm done with that sort of animosity.
