First part is correct as it's something he's talked about and made when they played the Geordies.Apparently White is a Sunderland supporter
Don't know if he's from there though
Born in the North East went to to school in Edinburgh according to the news article from 2016 about his friend falling from a balcony in the Algarve.
Has a bit of a North East Twang mixed with something else I'd say.
Does he have some one else's children?Can't see any link between them. From what I could tell it seems Jim doesn't have children of his own.

I feel like they’d have used football presenter if it was a football presenter, they kept it as “sports” which is casting the net as wide as possible.
It’s probably someone who presented Ski Sunday or darts in the 80s.
Hope people had decent levels of confirmation before naming that Sky presenter though.
