Another Shiekh buys a stake........

I know it happend to Pompey but I expect it to be with a club who has sorted their ground out.

I think that was a main attraction for City, and know it was a big factor in the Chelsea deal. Everton have got no where with theirs so far. It is the right time to buy Newcastle, but they aren't a prem team.

Sunderland would be my guess...

not Sunderland Ellis Short competed the total buy out a couple of weeks back (with a rumored 200Million war chest)

Didn't take much notice, I knew Quinn said something was going to happen, and they have a big newish ground and potential.

Birmingham City? They are looking to sell, as Mo hasn't been investing in Fulham much in recent years. they look at long term potential, locations, grounds. These two have medicore grounds but I can't think of anyone else that would make sense. Fulham is close to Heathrow too.

Personally I thought is was just part of the pompey deal becoming more clearer as Al Fahim has always said he was fronting a consortium from the middle east and asia

with the new Prem league rules on ownership clarity I was thinking that it was the details of this deal starting to come through. Especially after the press reports suggesting Dr T was involved generated some negative comments for people in the FA.

my sources tell me its accrington stanley!

Even though this is a piss take, with Blackburn having the cheapest prices in the world next season, Burnley going up, and Stanley having the lowest crowds in the league and a big tax bill to pay, they would be a bad investment.

From what I can gather, "Darker shade of blue" will be a happy chappy rather soon.

after the comments about Eto'o's wage demands I think he may be suicidal
