Quick question...Just how rich are our owners?? I mean, obviously they are super rich but if there are other clubs being bought by Middle East investers, are we soon gonna be 'just another rich club', or are our investers considerably richer than the rest of these Middle Eastern folk??

ADUG have a gross worth of 3.5 trillion dollars, thats 3,500,000,000,000 and interest earnt on a daily basis is approximately 671 million a day thats rough and on the low side , however what they put into city is a drop in a very big ocean

We're holding out for the Microsoft stadium deal :P

According to the unsourced report al-Qassimi, a member of the ruling family of Ras al-Khaimah, would be taking a 60 per cent stake and be appointed honorary chairman this week. A Premier League spokesman said they had no knowledge of an imminent takeover.

Ras al-Khaimah is one of seven members in the UAE federation which also includes Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Last year Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan bought Manchester City, while Portsmouth is the subject of a bid from another Abu Dhabi investor, Sulaiman al-Fahim.

A spokesman for al-Fahim denied Portsmouth was al-Qassimi’s target, while a source close to Anfield’s owners denied Liverpool was the club in question.

Should al-Qassimi take a stake in one of the British-owned clubs in the league it will make overseas investors a majority round the Premier League table. Ten clubs are in foreign ownership: Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Sunderland, West Ham, Fulham and Manchester City.

From what I can gather, "Darker shade of blue" will be a happy chappy rather soon.

Only found out about it about 30 mins ago having been at my dads today .
I know I stated in another thread that I'd been told about a possible take over a week or so ago , but there was nothing to back it up at the time . The same woman also thought Tevez might be going to Everton , so there ya go lol .

I can't see us selling 60% , or how that 60% would come about across our board , so doubt it will be us .

It would be interesting if it was though , which might explain somewhat the air of mystery surrounding us at the moment .

Probably something else to cling to in vein .

Are you tripping or something?

If I told you that Keith Wyness was appointed ' non executive director ' of a company called Fluid Leader Group in July last year ( same month he left Everton ) .

The company received investment last year from a certain Sheikh Faisal Bin Khalid
Mohammed Al Qassimi who also took up the appointment of ' non executive director ' , would you admit there is a connection , and a definite possibility that Everton may well be the club ?

Still think I'm tripping ?

Do you really think Tevez is holding out untill July to make a decision between Chelsea and City ?

Tevez will be a blue for sure , but it will be a Royal Blue .

Muwahahahaha :P
