If we can keep him fit then i will be very happy. I think its a £7m loan, 70% to 75% of his basic salary. Would have liked Palmer to, but cant compete with what cfc will pay in wages.

Brilliant signing for Brighton, I was slightly surprised he went there but the more I thought about it, going to Brighton is probably the best thing any young player can do.

Brighton develop phenomenal talent - it might be overplaying it a bit, but if they kept their team from a few years ago together I think they could probably have a title challenge (we'd beat them). Players like Sanchez, White, Burn, Caicedo, Bissouma, Cucurella, Mac Allister, Trossard, Maupay - that's a brilliant team that and most of them could easily play a part in our squad.

Their manager is good and I think this is a really good move for the lad, I think he will do well there and improve his value! Fair play to him!

I don't think so, unless we negotiated it. That's only a thing if a youth player leaves for free.
