I think its more likely (as Pep said in his presser) that we have 30 players and the squad is full. The main issue is that we are finding it difficult to sell unwanted players and cant fee up squad places. I think this lad will be a star (many big clubs across Europe have been showing interest) and think its a shame we unable to find a space in the squad because of players like Yaya and Fernando, who will very likely be gone by this time next season.

Hi mate, "something along the lines of" was a term used by a twitter account. The original story said no such thing and seemed a pretty detailed report. (i.e quoted when meeting took place, where the meeting took place and who was there) The original report, (which was not from twitter) said:

"At that Worthington had no answer. Only unconvincing "We'll see, but you can sign."And at that moment the negotiations are for Coric's side have lost all meaning and the company dispersed"

No, I dont believe everything in the Croatian report(and made that clear in what I said i.e "if you want to believe" and "if all that is true") but there was enough info in the "original" report to atleast take off our blue tinted glasses for a second and think maybe we(our rep) made a mistake.

Same for me, I've only seen stuff on the net, & he does appear slow but also I haven't seen him do really anything in particular.

He plays in a proper team & at international level but other than that fact, that he's playing at that level at his age, I don't see why anyone thinks we should go for him. If you compare him to Gabriel Jesus for example, it's pretty obvious why we have signed him!

There is a higlights vid of Aleix Garcia somewhere, & ok, a fair bit is 2nd team football, but even so, if you compare the two, it's on another level.

Maybe there is a whole set of performances where he has been amazing & I haven't seen any of it.

Imo if you made a highlights reel of Yaya & Fernando, it would look better than Coric's.
