Special kid..Perhaps the CM many have been crying for...A master of the fakes..Faking a pass,faking a shot, faking a direction in movement before he bursts away and leaves his markers chasing shadows..Him alongside Illy + Aleix Garcia could be magic.

This kid and Manu Garcia in our midfield in a few years time would be insane! If our youngsters do fulfil their full potential, we're gonna have a fucking frightening young squad sometime soon.

I wonder if we are expecting all of these youngsters to challenge for a spot......or just sell some for profit?

I think we're interested in them primarily to challenge for a first team place, but if they fall just short then we can sell them on at a profit like Chelsea have been doing for years.

Now we're doing this too along with having all our sister clubs in CFG, we should be in a seriously commanding position for young talented players for years to come. The plan is coming together nicely.... :-)

Absolutely.

And hopefully the 3rd part of the equation is that one or two are our own academy kids & we have an academy kid shadowing both players in each position, so if one is injured, tied or out of form or turns out to be shit, we bring the kid in. If he ends up better, we ditch one & keep the kid. How it should have been for the past 5 years.

Don't think he'd agree to that to be honest.

He's being chased by a bunch of big clubs including the dippers. We might be the biggest or the most attractive, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be the case of he was going to get farmed out on loan if he could play there.

He also seems pretty down to earth - I seem to remember there was a bidding war when he was 16 and he chose to go to a Serbian club over Chelsea.

We could buy him, then loan him to the dippers, that would be quite amusing.

If we're buying him to loan him out for a season and see how he deals with physical, EPL-style football, before reevaluating his place and letting him take over when Touré leaves, then sign me up, I'm all for it. If we're buying him to be competing as a backup in the first team this season, I'd rather we stuck with A. García to be honest. But whatever Pep wants.

I agree but not sure we have ever been in such a strong position in past to lure the young potential world class players. Pep has made the difference.
