Ante Coric

Not full starters to the 1st team no, but a prolonged cup run wouldn't of harmed would it? Or in your opioion as Pep's closest confidant in all tactics and policies am I wrong again?

I've simply given you the fact of how old, on average, Guardiola's debutants were. Most only ever played 1 or 2 games, and most were in meaningless cup or league games.

But they were still much older than the 3 players mentioned were when Mancini left. So if you're expecting Pep to bring through a ton of 17,18 year olds then, well, history wouldn't suggest its going to happen.

Being to think you're arguing with me for the sake of it now.
You said they were 17,18,19 and Pep brings through average of just under 20.....like 19?
I was agreeing that the young lads inquestion were full of promise and that in my opinion the manager at the time didn't give them any hope or motivation to stay on and try kicking on up the ranks.
I also said that they wouldn't of been nailed on 1st 11 starters but and good cup run meaningless in your eyes or not, may have given them the hunger to continue on... Is none of that agreeable my blue chum?

This is saying we've already had an 8mil offer rejected and a 2nd bid could be on its way...

EXCLUSIVE TMW - ManCity unleashed. After Gabriel Jesus and healthy, here Coric

And 'one of world football's crack, Ante Coric. One that, in Croatia, it is considered worthy heir to Ivan Rakitic. Born in 1997, plays in Dinamo Zagreb with whom he has already won, despite his young age, two titles and two cups. Playmaker, young age has also played in the Salzburg youth.

Manchester City is in the midst of a true market revolution. With Begiristain and Guardiola is trying to build a team that looks to the future and is already strong in the present. Gabriel Jesus Palmeiras has already been formalized and will arrive in the summer. Leroy Sane Schalke 04 is already available to Pep Guardiola who, in the work of rejuvenation and strengthening of his, will soon also Ante Coric. A substantial figure (the last $ 10 million had been rejected, we talk about a proposed 14-15), for one of the best talents of the globe. Yet another new cycle of the City signed Begiristain and Guardiola.

Not really. If Guardiola was manager in 20113, they more than likely still wouldn't have been played yet, going by his previous much praised record. So attributing blame on Mancini is wrong.

Would love to see Coric at City. Great talent.
The only problem at the moment is that we have far too many of the old brigade that we cannot offload, thereby restricting us with squad numbers. Maybe buy now and loan back to the existing club for 12 months.

Buy him on a 4/5 year deal at that price and let him keep plying his trade at Zagreb via a loan for the next 12 months.

But I didn't bring up Pep, you did I, just stated that I thought Mancini wasn't very connected to the youth. It was one of the reasons touted quite strongly for his dismissal.
You're the one with Pep on the brain kid

If Guardiola is the manager in “20113” I hope he’ll have managed to sign Stones.

I agree but sadly them lads were at the stage of moving up to gain next experience when Roberto was at the helm and by all accounts had no interest in the youth.
He was too busy building the best City team there’s ever been. 19 home games, 18 wins, one draw. And not a sniff from the likes of Scapuzzi etc - not. good. enough.

Sweet Johnny, I agree with the starting 11, tons of fight and passion in that so called mercenary side. Loved that side, that season. Still doesn't mean he did the youth and favours though.
