Anthony Taylor appointed ref for Chelsea

Honest question: How little would a letter to the FA regarding this match achieve?
It's a shame because you just know that no matter how bad something is, they aren't going to change it no matter what.

Is there anything City could realistically do?

Agree with all the posts. We have all seen certain matches over the years which reek of corruption. Nothing will happen. The authorities will brush it under the carpet as usual just like they have done with sex abuse, bungs, tax avoidance, illegal transfer deals, crowd safety issues (no one can seriously believe that the away end at Turf Moor has a valid safety certificate), and drug cheats. Most (not all) sports journalists are cowards who won't bite the hand that feeds them. Why were Mark Halsey's comments of a few months ago ignored? Anthony Taylor is a disgrace. We all know he had a perfect view of the penalty. The game needs cleaning up properly but don't hold your breath.

It doesn't matter who Taylor supports, he's cheating because he's allowed to.
But it's the same every week, our team get clogged by thugs in opposition shirts with immunity from the refs. These thugs know before hand they can get away with whatever they want when tacking a Manchester City player. Reference any away game this season where Serio and Silva are targeted with tackles from behind and regularly taken out, with not even a foul given, such as Cahill's 'reducer' yesterday.
Then you have the ostriches on here saying Silva and Aguerro going missing, perhaps without remembering the knocks they're having to constantly endure.
Yet one of ours dares to breathe near an opposition player and it's a booking. The whole thing is corrupt and stinks to high heaven.
The Chelsea sub pushed Aguero over right in front of us and yet he got only a booking, can't be reviewed, job done.

Nail on the head

If we get Taylor again, why not just have a couple of well placed banners asking. Why is a known United fan reefing this Game?

Violent play that was downplayed because Tit Taylor saw it in a lesser light than the two we had! Wrong at every which way the Laws of the Game are written. Violent play is violent play and the guy should have gone. Soon as I saw that I said Red Card. The fact it was a yellow confirmed that Taylor was operating two parallel sets of Laws - the real ones for us, and his own, home-made, home-spun, specially-written for the occasion set for CFC.

He is obviously a cheat. There are no other words to describe that performance yesterday.

One decision what proper pissed me off yesterday was the Cahill challenge on Kun. Not only did Cahill clearly wipe out Kun and leave him injured, any advantage we would have had from that move would have been from having Kun involved in the attack. Taylor practically forced KDB to run into trouble where he had no option but to lose possession and then allowed play to continue, and Chelsea to attack, whilst Kun was still down injured.

The guy is a fucking disgrace to his profession.
