IMO which, like you, i’m entitled, to he was passable.
He made heavy weather over some robust united tackles but penalised us for some soft ones. Nothing new there.
He didn’t give them to many easily won fouls, but he did give them some around the box.
B Silva was booked for his first foul.
It was a clear penalty to scum, but Sane was clearly chopped for a penalty.

So i’m Not happy no, because the refs shouldn’t make so many simplistic errors.
 
I thought he was good but will reserve a final judgement to viewing the pen and the Sane appeal on tv rather than live.

I must admit he seemed to let the game run well and never blew up everytime some player hit the floor.

Still think refs refereering so locally is not a good idea.
 
As always when we win there can be no real gripes with the ref. But he was too keen to book Bernard when similar fouls from them went unpunished and Sergio got smashed in the face from one of their mug defenders and he didn’t even have a word with him.
In fairness to him Ferna gave him a couple of chances to give him a soft yellow but he let it go
