Anthony Taylor (of Altrincham)

Just watched the Sane incident on "Ref Watch". It's hard to call because it started outside the box and finished inside it, Dermott Gallagher, who was creaming himself over Taylor's performance, couldn't bring himself to admit there could've been a mistake and claimed it wasn't a foul just a "coming together". It was, but it was a 'coming together' of Smallings arm into Sanes face and that, in anybody's book, is a foul. Can't complain about their penalty, it was a rush of blood from Ederson and nailed on albeit it there looked like a clear handball from Smalling (who really is shit) in the first half which hasn't been shown and looked like a penalty to me.

If Silva hadnt had put that goal away would he have blown for a penalty on Sergio? That would have been interesting and he probably would have missed that. There were no hard decisions in that game as City were that good and United were that bad he didnt get the opportunity to make a difficult call.
Taylor certainly saw the foul on Aguero as he clearly indicated he was allowing advantage.

Let's give credit where it's due, I thought he reffed the game excellently yesterday.

Maybe all the talk in the run up actually did us a favour and he daren't give anything dodgy against us?

That is true, but we also didn't give him any opportunities to do something stupid, so the payers deserve credit for that.

The rags being utterly clueless and total dogshit helped too .

At the game I thought it was a handball too. However, the TV footage clearly shows that although he had his arm straight up like he was answering a question in class, the ball never hit his hand/arm.

Funny thing is I seem to be doing it for every goal we score - which way is the whistling wanker pointing, and had the lino really shoved the flag up his arse and not in the air. Always do a quick check.

I did notice same Dave and I understand totally Pep's reaction. However, you should try watching MLS here (I am a ST holder at AUFC btw) and have literally stopped celebrating as the ball goes in the onion bag now, due to the compulsory VAR review, its ruined my enjoyment of the beautiful game and goal celebrations in particular as its just not the same waiting a few minutes to go mental, until the goal is actually bloody confirmed. MLS must have VAR 1.0 as the VAR system used in Russia in the summer, was infinitely better than the version we are subjected to here...……. beware my friend, its coming and its not just not footie! I would gladly put up with bad decisions along the way, to return the game to its natural, albeit flawed, former self!
