My daughter just texted me to say she is in a long queue outside a vaccination centre waiting for her booster whilst some crazed anti-vax woman is shouting nonsense and abuse at those in the queue.

In fairness to her she may have mental health issues which would excuse her gross stupidity. If not I agree with your solution - son has tested positive today so our Christmas is hanging in the balance. Wife is a nurse and we will be following all of the quarantine rules. These anti vax twats are exactly that… selfish twats who don’t give a fuck about anyone but themselves

I've just had an update on the bloke who lives over the road from me who's not been vaccinated because his belief was that COVID-19 was a load of bullshit.

He's the same age as me, looks more athletic than I do and from what I gather leads a more healthy lifestyle than I do. (Not that I'm particularly unhealthy but you know what I mean)

Anyway, after coming out of intensive care after getting the virus he didn't believe was real he's home but not right. He's lost a stone and half and doctors concerned about liver damage. He's to go back for tests. Also weirdly his hair has gone quite grey. He is annoyed with himself as didn't believe the virus was anything and so not jabbed.

sadly hearing this more and more often - local guy about my fathers age who was anti-vax passed away - Mid 50s.

At the roundabout at Worsley Church there is a group of the anti-vax people with their placards, apparently every Tuesday. Not sure why no other days but I just wonder what they hope to achieve standing there when the car drivers are mainly too busy concentrating on the traffic flow! The last time I saw them a week ago they were trying to give leaflets to people through the car windows but no one in front of me (about 5 cars) reacted and, of course, neither did I although I was really tempted but I am a peaceful woman!
