every time Atletico lose a big player, they just get stronger somehow!
Torres -> Aguero -> Falcao -> Costa -> Griezmann??
Don't need a scout pal, they rarely find unknown quantities. They just pick up these players seemingly unrivaled because other clubs are too busy looking for the 'big names' it seems.Instead sign the scout working for A Madrid .
Who ever that so called person is , get him. He seems like he has an eye for talents.Don't need a scout pal, they rarely find unknown quantities. They just pick up these players seemingly unrivaled because other clubs are too busy looking for the 'big names' it seems.
They also have fantastic coaches and an awesome manager. Playing for atletico also reduces the spotlight from the media and everything else because everyone is too bothered about barca and real. Atletico just quietly go about their business.

6 goals. Twice as much as anyone else in the tournament.Surely Griezmann is now solo top scorer in the tournament right?
I don't think it's so much to do with his affinity to Atletico in that. He's been living in Spain since he was 13 as he was rejected by French clubs because they thought he was too small, spanish clubs didn't have this 'restriction'. He's a product of the spanish youth system as is Laporte. So probably spanish comes more natural to him by now. You look at Bellerin who's only been 4 years in London and he sounds nothing like a spaniard because it's a very impressionable age, it's much different than a grown man like Tevez learning a different language.I find his affinity to Athletico must be deep as he shouts "Vamos!" into the camera every goal, instead of "Allez!"
Very strange.

In my opinion, he is as good as Messi and Ronaldo says Sagna. I don't think so Les
I honestly believe he has the ability to be in that conversation ("as good as" not best ever) if he continues his trajectory over the next 18 months. Of course, unless he wins everything for the next 5 years, he will never be in the conversation of "best ever" because he is just now bursting on the scene as a 24/25 year old. But on 2015-2016 season form, I think he has been the best attacking European-born player. I discard Ronaldo because I don't like him. Ha. I was totally bummed when Atletico got him to sign an extension last month with an insane buyout clause. Him and Aguero running riot together would be a sight to behold...
Did zilch in the first two games I think and got roasted for the same, even dropped. Another 3-4 games and he is as good as Messi, Ronaldo. That said he is a great player whenever I have seen him, but I would put Neymar, Suarez, Bale over him right now.
